PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Product is a unique high solids resin utilizing metallic tint technology. It has been formulated to produce a fast curing, durable coating with excellent ultraviolet and weathering characteristics, matched with great chemical resistance. At full cure resin will provide abrasion resistant surface for use in commercial and residential flooring applications.

Applications:
Metallic floor systems are gaining in popularity with architects, designers and contractors due to the unique look and coloring techniques and color tones. Applications include commercial space, retail floors, office building, restaurants, automotive showrooms, Interior floor space, salons/spas and other applications requiring stunning appearance and lasting surface.

1/16” (Higher builds per specification and condition)

FINISH CHARACTERISTICS:
Semi-gloss or Gloss finish availible

FLEXURAL STRENGTH:
9,000 psi @ ASTM D790

COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH:
12,000 psi @ ASTM D695

TENSILE STRENGTH:
4,400 psi @ ASTM D638

ADHESION:
400 psi @ elcometer (concrete failure, no delamination)

ULTIMATE ELONGATION:
3.4%

HARDNESS:
Shore D = 80

ABRASION RESISTANCE:
Taber abraser CS-17 calibrase wheel with 1000 gram total load
and 500 cycles= 20 mg loss

VISCOSITY: Varies per process

 

CURE SCHEDULE:  (70°F)

PRIMER:

Tinted epoxy primer to provide superior adhesion

Metallic Coat:

2 coats of polyaspartic resin with formulated metallic colorant

TOPCOAT:

Polyaspartic urethane resin or specified per project requirements
